Description:
The CAASC is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the wellbeing of Chinese Americans and the betterment of the community. The CAASC participates in community events and sponsors cultural and educational programs throughout the year. Scholarship awardees will be recognized at the 30th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser and Lunar New Year Celebration held in person on February 28, 2026.
Applicant Eligibility:
Open to all full-time students meeting the requirements below. Must be a high school senior or community college student in Solano County or a resident of Solano County attending high school or a community college.
- Applicants must possess a minimum weighted grade point average (GPA) of 3.0.
- Three letters of recommendation must accompany the application from separate individuals, none of whom are related to the applicant.
- Past recipients of the CAASC scholarship are not eligible.
Basis of Award:
Academic performance, scholastic aptitude, community service, and community involvement.
Application Procedures:
- Completion of the entire CAASC Scholarship Google Form application
- All application materials must be received at the CAASC office located at 185 Butcher Road, Vacaville, CA 95687 or by email no later than 5 PM PST of the application deadline. Postmarked applications not received by the deadline are not accepted.

- Three (3) Letters of Recommendation (May come from any combination of the following: Principal, Vice-Principal, Counselor, Teacher, Coach, Director, Chair of Organization, or Employer.)
